The “Great Trees of Monroe” photo contest was organized to celebrate the Scenic Road Ordinance adopted by the Town of Monroe. The Save our Stepney Task Force, Monroe Parks and Recreation and the Town of Monroe co-sponsored the contest.
Prizes were awarded for the most impressive photos submitted in the categories of Largest Tree, Most Colorful Tree, the Tree with the Most Popularity, Tallest Tree, and the Best Over All Tree.
